 Wreaths Across America
 

Wreaths Across America is taking place at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans Cemetery on Saturday, December 13.  There will be a “meet and greet” at 11:00 in Kozy Korners with speakers and proceed over to the cemetery at 11:45 to take part in the ceremony.  Anyone is welcome to join VFW Post 702 and Auxiliary (Hosting the event), Patriot Guard Riders, and the Civil Air Patrol for this emotional ceremony.  You can contact Sonya VanValkenburg (VFW Post 702 Auxiliary) at 616-447-9978 for additional details.

 

The Department of Michigan VFW and Auxiliary, along with VFW Post 702 and Auxiliary will be sponsoring a Christmas Eve Bingo/Pizza party and New Year’s Eve Bingo/Pizza party for the residents at Grand Rapids Home for Veterans.  Both bingo parties will begin at 7:00 PM, but workers need to be there by 6:15.   The Christmas Eve party will be held in the dining room and the New Year’s Eve party will be held in the All Purpose Room.  Everyone is welcome to come join in and help make the Holidays a little brighter for our veterans.
