The Department of Michigan VFW is a member of the Michigan Commanders Group, a coalition of Michigan's Congressionally Chartered Veterans Service Organizations.
The Commanders Group promotes veterans' programs within the State of Michigan which impact on all veterans and their families and state residents who are active-duty military members as well as National Guard and Reserves members.
The Commanders Group members work collectively to support and advocate for state legislation that benefits Michigan veterans, their families and their survivors.
